Several hours later, Leon strolled leisurely through the third floor of the castle, hands tucked into his pockets, looking as aimless as someone out for a casual walk.

As he passed by the third-floor kitchen, he caught a glimpse of a figure inside out of the corner of his eye.

“Well, well, Your Majesty. What a coincidence, huh?”

Standing in front of a cabinet, Rosvisser didn’t even bother turning around at the sound of his voice. She remained focused on her task and replied without looking back,

“Coincidence? It feels more like you’re tailing me.”

“Tailing? Can a tiger tail be used as a substitute?”

“Idiot.”

Muttering under her breath, Rosvisser finally turned around, now holding two delicate little cakes in her hands.

Leon leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed over his chest, raising an eyebrow as he smiled and remarked,

“You look so focused. It’s almost like you’re testing someone’s character.”

Rosvisser snorted lightly. “Of course. Last time, when we were playing Werewolf, you insisted on hovering in the kitchen, ate one of my cakes, and—”

“You got poisoned. So, how about trying again?”

“Why wouldn’t I dare?”

With that, Leon approached her.

As he reached her, he suddenly quickened his steps, pinning her against the cabinet. Their faces were now dangerously close, their breaths mingling in the intimate space between them.

“I was talking about trying my cake again. What are you doing?”

“I thought you meant for me to try kissing you again.”

“Ugh, move away! What if someone sees us? How embarrassing.”

Rosvisser pushed Leon away in a token gesture. Although she managed to create some distance, Leon took a slow step forward, forcing her to press back against the cabinet once more.

His gaze traveled over her face and settled on the slight curve of her lips. Lowering his head, he murmured softly, “What’s visible is the corner of your mouth. What’s hidden is your neck.”

Before she could respond, there was a soft, clear smack sound.

“Gotcha,” Leon announced smugly. “You didn’t see that coming, did you?”

Rosvisser ran her tongue lightly over the corner of her lips, where Leon had just kissed her. She then smirked and retorted,

“With your Silver Dragon speed and reflexes, do you think I couldn’t have dodged your oh-so-obvious sneak kiss?”

“Then why didn’t you?”

“What do you think, dummy?”

Rosvisser pushed him away for real this time and walked over to the dining table, placing the two freshly made cakes onto a tray.

The tray already had several finished cakes on it.

“What’s this?” Leon asked.

“While completing a task earlier, Helena and I divided up the work. I found this kitchen, saw some ingredients, and thought I’d make something to replenish our energy. But before I finished, the item to complete the task was already delivered.”

Leon nodded. “So those three little ones ditched you?”

Rosvisser sat at the dining table, propping her chin on one hand. Her long tail curled lazily behind her as she replied,

“Yup. A heartless mother, left to fend for herself here.”

“And yet, as their mother, you still care for them,” Leon said, shaking his head with a helpless smile.

At that moment, Rosvisser’s gaze shifted to the bracelet on Leon’s wrist.

“Several hours have passed. You still haven’t completed your task?”

“Nope.”

“And what have you been doing all this time? Just wandering around?”

Leon paused before responding. The queen pressed further, “Don’t tell me you’re really some wandering ghost?”

At this, Leon chuckled, straightened up in his seat, and, in an exaggerated tone reminiscent of an ancient spirit, replied,

“Yes, oh Silver Dragon Queen~ You’ve disturbed this wandering ghost, and now I shall enter your bod—Ow!”

Rosvisser smacked him squarely on the face, cutting him off mid-sentence.

Leon lightly grasped her wrist, holding her hand in his palm without letting go. Rosvisser didn’t resist.

“Actually, I’ve been testing this so-called ‘fatigue limit.’”

“Oh? And what did you find out?”

Leon shrugged. “When completing tasks in a normal state, there’s no time limit. But when in a fatigued state, once you trigger a task, you only have fifteen minutes to complete it, or it’s a failure.”

“And the time to enter the basement is reduced from one hour to thirty minutes.”

“That’s all there is to it.”

Rosvisser nodded thoughtfully. “Makes sense. It does add an extra layer of difficulty.”

Leon added, “I felt it was important to figure this out, even though it wasn’t strictly necessary at the time.”

“Why didn’t you share this plan with the others?”

“I believe there’s still a ghost player in our group, so revealing my full plan could make me a target.”

“Besides, figuring out the fatigue limit isn’t something that requires a group effort. I could handle it alone.”

“And what about you? Any new developments?” Leon asked.

“There is, actually.”

Rosvisser produced a memory stone and a prop card from her belongings.

“This is the [Overseer] card. When used, it can show detailed statistics about all players at the moment of activation—task efficiency, number of tasks completed, and time taken.”

Leon narrowed his eyes, considering the implications. “Sounds like it’s meant to help the good guys identify who the ghost players are. The less efficient someone is, the more likely they’re a ghost.”

“Exactly. Since ghost players’ goal is to sabotage us, they wouldn’t put much effort into tasks.”

Rosvisser twirled the [Overseer] card between her slender fingers before looking at Leon with a playful smile.

“So, want to see who’s the laziest on the field?”

“Aren’t you worried I’m the ghost?” Leon asked with a grin.

“And if you were, so what?”

Leaning closer, Rosvisser smiled slyly.

“Could you really bear to betray me?”

Leon gently cupped her beautiful face in his hand. “Beauty traps don’t work on Sigma men like me!”

“But a dragon beauty trap? This general has no choice but to fall for it!”

Laughing, Leon gestured for her to activate the card. “Go ahead. If I’m the ghost, the first task I’ll sabotage is Stan’s.”

Rosvisser chuckled and activated the [Overseer] card.

The memory stone immediately projected detailed statistics of all players’ tasks in the form of a ranking system.

“The higher the score, the more efficient the player,” Rosvisser explained.

“Aurora managed a whopping 92 points,” Leon observed.

“Tsk, Aurora must still be mad about getting eliminated during the last Werewolf round. Looks like she’s really pulling her weight this time.”

Rosvisser examined Aurora’s stats. “It was a puzzle task requiring the completion of three riddles while in a fatigued state. She completed each in under thirty minutes, and her final score even surpassed mine.”

“Good for her. She’s gunning for the championship, I see,” Leon remarked before asking, “Where am I ranked?”

“Wait, let me guess—third place, right?”

“Uh… you’re… oh, found you. You’re third from the bottom.”
