Shut Up Malevolent Dragon I Dont Want To Have Any More Children With You Chapter 750

Rosvisser quickly found the few who had gotten lost.
The whole family entered the amusement park together in orderly fashion.
There were plenty of attractions here—thrilling and exciting ones, smooth and relaxing ones, basically everything you could hope for.
Even the children ended up trying rides they’d never seen before, not even in Sky City.
The married couple, however, weren’t particularly interested in any of it, so Cecilia was the one accompanying the kids the whole time.
Next to the spinning teacup ride, Leon and Rosvisser sat on a bench, one on either side, watching the dizzy Moon and Cecilia inside the cup and trying their best not to laugh.
“Maybe we should start removing anything that spins from our ride list—otherwise it’s just too much torture for the directionally challenged,” Leon said.
“Seems like this base guide’s ratings are actually kind of accurate,” Rosvisser said with a teasing smile, agreeing with him.
“You’re right.”
As the two chatted, a few young people walked up to them.
“Hi, excuse me, are you Leon? Leon Casmod, the great hero who defeated the Doomsday Legion?”
One of the boys asked excitedly, barely able to contain his delight, his eyes filled with admiration as he looked at Leon.
“Ah, yes, that’s me. Is something the matter?”
“It really is you! We’re all your fans, Mr. Leon—could we get your autograph?”
As soon as the words left his mouth, the group of boys all whipped out pens and paper, thrusting them toward Leon before he could even react.
Leon had been through plenty of these autograph moments on outings. Whether it was in the Rain Kingdom, in dragon territory as a hero of the dragons, or in the Spear Kingdom and Kahn, the reaction was always similar if not even more intense.
So this sort of thing didn’t surprise Leon anymore.
He nodded calmly and took the pen and paper. “No problem.”
“Awesome, thank you, Mr. Leon!”
“Mr. Leon, how did you get to be so strong?”
Leon lifted his head and looked at the boys, then said, deadpan,
“Read more books, read more newspapers, eat less junk food, and get more sleep.”
“Come on, Mr. Leon, be serious,” a girl nearby chimed in.
Leon chuckled, lowering his head to keep signing as he said,
“Before you can become strong, you have to find someone—or something—worth protecting with everything you have. That way, you’ll push yourself to keep getting stronger, and in the end, you’ll be like me. Maybe even surpass me.”
With that, he handed the autographed cards back to the group.
The girl who’d spoken earlier carefully put away the signed card, then asked,
“Then, Mr. Leon, do you have someone—or something—worth protecting with everything you have?”
This time, Leon didn’t answer right away. He gently reached out and took Rosvisser’s hand, interlocking their fingers, giving them a little lift. Then he smiled and said,
“She’s the one I’d protect with everything I have.”
Rosvisser had thought it would be just another ordinary afternoon. That was, until the cheers of the young people rose and fell, until more and more people started flocking toward them, until they looked at her with reverent eyes.
That was when she realized: so long as she was spending time with Leon, nothing would ever be ordinary. Even in the human realm, even far from Silver Dragon territory, Leon would still, right in front of everyone, openly and proudly declare her to be his wife. And take pride in it.
Rosvisser felt that in the three hundred-plus years of her life, the two best decisions she had ever made were:
First, not letting her father marry her off to someone else back then;
Second, choosing to let go of the hatred between their races, and trying to understand this man.
Leon said she was “the one worth protecting with everything he had”;
But for Rosvisser, wasn’t Leon that person for her too?
A love that makes so many people envious has to be reckless and mutual.
The little commotion between the couple /N_o_v_e_l_i_g_h_t/ naturally caught the attention of the people spinning in the teacups.
“Whoa~ Why do Mom and Dad get mobbed no matter where they go?” Moon said in amazement.
“Looks like lots of people are jealous of my daughter and son-in-law’s relationship~” Cecilia said proudly.
Meanwhile, Aurora was squinting suspiciously at the crowd gathering around.
“Something’s not right…” the pink-haired girl muttered.
Noa raised a brow, testing the waters. “What’s not right?”
“In our dragon clan’s Sky City, Mom and Dad get swarmed, have their pictures taken, and sign autographs because Dad’s a dragon hero,”
Aurora pouted. “But this is the human Empire. These people shouldn’t have any reason to be chasing after my dad like some kind of celebrity…
Big Sis, don’t you think so?”
Noa paused for a second, then smiled. “Ah, well… Maybe Dad just has a face like a movie star?”
“He told me yesterday he has an ordinary face.”
After a short pause, Aurora suddenly seemed to think of something. “Oh right! That statue in the Imperial Plaza… the face looked just like Dad’s.”
“…So what you’re saying is… those people mistook Dad for the guy from the statue?”
“I guess so…”
The teacups kept spinning, soon rotating Aurora away from the angle where she could see them.
Still, she couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off…
It was like Dad was hiding something—but not completely hiding it, just leaking bits and pieces from time to time.
“What’s really going on here…”
…
That night, after dinner, Leon said he wanted to check in on the Lionheart Order.
Rosvisser didn’t really want to go, but also didn’t want to risk letting Cecilia take the girls alone—her directional sense was just too catastrophically bad, and she might accidentally lead the daughters astray.
So Rosvisser brought Cecilia and the girls back to the inn, and Leon headed off to the Lionheart Order alone.
After Kant’s fall, the former imperial palace had been converted into the Order’s base.
Of course, it wasn’t anywhere near as luxurious and extravagant as the old royal palace—it just met the Lionheart Order’s needs for regular training, administration, and intel handling.
On duty tonight was Rebecca.
“With your experience and skills, you’re basically second-in-command of the Order. Why are you still on night shifts?”
In the vast meeting hall of the Lionheart Order, Leon and Rebecca sat across from each other.
The girl was slouched in her chair, legs propped up on the edge of the table; the table itself was covered with snacks she liked.
Rebecca munched on a chip, laced her fingers behind her head, and said leisurely,
“Same as you, Captain—I don’t like sitting up on a pedestal.
I’d rather be on the front lines, doing real work.”
Leon chuckled and glanced at the table full of snacks.
“Aren’t you a little old to still be eating kiddie food like this?”
“A woman is always eighteen, Captain.”
“Says who?”
“What, you saying that’s wrong?”
“Your sister-in-law’s version is: ‘A mother dragon is always a hundred and eighty.’”
Rebecca rolled her eyes. She popped another chip in her mouth,
“It was Martin who bought them for me. He was gonna keep me company on the shift, but halfway through he suddenly had to go handle some stuff. He’s not your tagalong anymore, you know—he’s a busy man now~”
Rebecca sighed and stared up at the ceiling with her big green eyes, spacing out.
“Sigh—, this is the downside of being in a high position. You end up having to handle every little fart of a problem yourself.”
“You’re complaining, Rebecca.”
“I’m not.”
“You are.”
“I! AM! NOT!!”
The barbecue-flavored chips still lingering in her mouth, Rebecca gave a couple more stubborn replies, then sniffled.
“Fine, I am complaining. What the hell’s so important that he had to rush off instead of seeing me?
He’s supposed to be confessing to me in less than a week, too, damn it.”
Leon gave a low chuckle and started eating the snacks on the table with her.
“Did Nacho tell you how Martin plans to confess?”
Rebecca shook her head. “No, but he better not try that whole flowers-and-candles bullshit. If he does, I might just dump him on the spot.”
Leon blinked. “Flowers and candles are… that lame?”
“They’re so outdated, Captain! Don’t tell me that’s how you proposed to Sis-in-law?”
“…That was the plan, but now that you mention it, I might need to reconsider,” Leon said seriously.
“Ha! You straight guys are hopeless.”
They kept chatting while Rebecca polished off an entire bag of chips, then opened a bag of pistachios and started cracking them open one by one.
“Anyway, Captain, any leads on that Thunder Spirit Core you’re looking for?”
“Yeah. Tomorrow, I’m planning to go with the Redmane Sand archaeology team to a place that might have some clues.”
“Redmane Sand archaeology team?”
Rebecca suddenly sat up, her eyes flickering like she had something to say but didn’t.
“Yeah, what about it?”
Leon thought she was worried Rosvisser might get jealous, so he added,
“Your sister-in-law’s coming with us too.”
“No no, that’s not it.”
Rebecca dropped her lazy posture and looked at Leon seriously.
“I heard that the leader of Elusa-senpai’s archaeology team is a suuuuper rigid old fossil. You better watch your mouth when you get there, Captain.”
