Meanwhile, Du Yu and his group had just landed on a small island, slowly making their way inland.

“Is that so? Sister Qianqiu, did Saint really say that?” Du Yu smiled faintly as he walked. “It’s exactly as I expected. Since my future self becomes Saint and travels back in time to kill me, theoretically, the current Saint must have also been assassinated by other Saints in his past. “Oh?” Hearing Dong Qianqiu’s warning, Du Yu slightly arched a brow. “They arrived even earlier than I anticipated…”

Du Yu called out to the Seven Holy Heroes, picking up his pace to press onward.

On the other side, Zhan Qisheng and the rest of the group also spotted the black dots in the sky, their expressions instantly darkening.

“Assistant Dong, is this the situation Du Yu predicted?” Zhi Nv asked.

“Yes,” Dong Qianqiu gave a slight nod. “It’s time to execute the final plan.”

Hearing this, Zhi Nv grabbed Saint by the collar and demanded, “Tell me, are you willing to join forces with Du Yu?”

Saint remained silent, his gaze fixed thoughtfully on the approaching black dots in the distant sky.

“We are out of time!” Zhi Nv pressed. “Don’t you want to see ‘us’ again?! Are you truly content to let your world remain completely shrouded in darkness?!”

“Are you not even going to try?!” Watching the black dots rapidly expand in the sky, Zhi Nv couldn’t help but grow anxious. “They’re coming! They are here to kill every single one of us!”

The Seven Holy Heroes all turned their gazes toward Saint, their eyes burning with fervent hope.

The group slowly climbed to their feet, their expressions grave.

Saint’s lips moved slightly as he spoke. “Old Zhan, Zhi Nv, Ying Ning. I have never once viewed any of you as my enemies. Please, trust me. I have a plan.”

The three of them gazed back at Saint. A familiar aura now radiated from him—that undeniable, trustworthy presence they always felt from Du Yu.

“Naturally, we’ve never considered you a true enemy either. If you are willing to join forces with us, then there is no crisis we cannot overcome,” Zhi Nv said. “What is your plan?”

“According to the timeline’s normal progression, you should have executed me just now. The Seven Holy Heroes would suffer a total mental breakdown, and the three of you would be left in a devastated daze. Saint looked up toward the horizon. The dense cluster of black dots in the sky had drawn close enough to make out their shapes—it was a massive army of masked figures.

“Sister Qianqiu!” Saint yelled to the sky. “I know you can see my feed! A catastrophe is about to strike the Legend Management Bureau. An old friend of ours is returning on the fifth day after Du Yu entered the legend. You absolutely must be prepared!”

Dong Qianqiu was briefly stunned by his words. She quickly sent a Voice Transmission back to Saint, demanding, “Who is coming?!”

“There is no time to explain in detail. If we survive this, I will tell you the entire story from beginning to end.” Saint turned to glance at Zhan Qisheng, Zhi Nv, and Ying Ning. “My plan is simple. On our own, we are no match for them. We are going to need some backup.”
