A Yokai slowly walked over. He had a bizarre appearance, lacking arms which were replaced by a pair of wings, and his mouth resembled a giant bird’s beak. That earlier screech had come from this strange mouth.

“Yamabiko?” Shiranui Asuka turned her head and recognized the Yokai standing before them.

Yamabiko didn’t answer. He immediately turned his head and instructed another Yokai, “Go notify Shuten. Someone is here to crash our party.”

Receiving the order, the Yokai immediately ran off to get backup.

Looking back at Cowherd on the ground, the dust cloud gradually dispersed, revealing his figure.

His aura was far more powerful than most of the Yokai nearby. For a moment, the Yokai only dared to form a protective circle in front of Asuka, lacking the courage to launch an attack.

Yamabiko gently pulled Asuka behind him, stepped forward, and asked, “Who are you, sir? Why did you attack Little Xiang?”

Cowherd slowly took off his sunglasses, tucked them into his chest pocket, and replied, “I don’t know who this Little Xiang is. I only want Xie Yujiao’s life.”
