Noah spoke the words as he was walking along with the rest, heading for the lectures.
There was a collective silence at his statement, before—
“Don’t worry about them. Even if it was that guy—Jacob—who initiated the attack, I can say with a hundred percent certainty that it might have been Kael’s doing. I know that bastard very well.”
Kevin clicked his tongue as he voiced his thoughts.
“Really? To me, it looked like Jacob was at fault. Aren’t you being too harsh on your brother, Kevin?”
“He’s right. Don’t speak if you have no idea about the situation.”
Diana interjected in their conversation, as she was finding it hard to keep quiet.
Ever since the incident in the classroom, where Kael had intimidated Kevin, the latter had been acting childish whenever Kael’s name came up in their conversations.
And now that Diana was in constant contact with Kael, the situation had taken a turn for the worse.
Alicia subconsciously nodded her head at Diana’s words.
Though she didn’t like Kael in the slightest, it wasn’t like she would allow anyone to badmouth him, even if it was her other brother.
But her ego made her keep quiet on the matter.
“Shut up, Diana. I don’t really care what you think. I will say whatever—”
“I am not asking you to care. I was simply stating the facts, which your brain couldn’t process.”
“Huh?! Say that again.”
Kevin raised his voice as he walked towards Diana, who simply looked back at him with indifference.
For Diana, Kael had always been the first priority, and it hadn’t changed even after everything that had happened between the two of them.
She might have kept quiet if it had been Alicia in Kevin’s place, but not anyone else.
Even if Diana didn’t say it aloud, her mind always blamed Kevin for whatever had happened with Kael in the past.
Though she herself knew that Kevin wasn’t in the wrong, her mind just refused to let those thoughts dissolve.

Just as Kevin was inches away from Diana, his eyes narrowed in anger, Alicia stepped in between, stopping him with a single glance.
“What? You think I should keep quiet even if I wasn’t in the wrong? You know it too, Alicia, so why defend that bastard?”
“I am not defending him, it’s just—”
“Call him a bastard once again…”
Diana didn’t complete her sentence, but the message was clear.
“You think I am scared of you, Princess?”
Kevin smirked as he moved closer to Diana, with the only thing separating them being Alicia.
“You may be at Silver 1, but don’t mistake your mana core for your strength. If you weren’t born a royal, I would have shown you your rightful place—”
“Kevin?!”
Alicia pushed Kevin by his chest, making him retreat a few steps.
“Why are you being so edgy?”
Alicia’s words silenced the place in seconds, as even the nearby students who had just exited the training facility stopped in their tracks, watching the drama unfold before them.
It wasn’t every day that you saw the top students in the academy fighting with each other.
The most interesting part being that it was the Frost and the Veltran princess who had gotten into an argument.

Seeing the state of his sister, Kevin backed off, while apologizing to Diana at the same time.

Diana didn’t say anything. She still harboured frustration toward Kevin, though she managed to bottle it up, not wanting to hurt Alicia in any way.
“Let’s go for the lectures, shall we?”
Noah’s cheerful voice broke through the awkward silence as he gently patted Kevin’s shoulder while moving towards Alicia.
“We are friends, aren’t we? So why fight amongst ourselves? Also—huh?”
As Noah turned around to complete his sentence, he stopped midway, his eyes focused on the entrance of the training facility.
Seeing his sudden silence, everyone turned their gazes, only to find Kael talking with a group of werewolves.
“Bairtus?”
Diana muttered in confusion, though her words were audible enough for everyone to hear.
“The royal family?” Noah asked, hearing Diana’s words.
“Yes, but what do they want with Kael—”

Before anyone could process anything, the Bairtus Prince was launched into the air, his body smashing against the wall of a building that was some meters away from where Diana and the rest stood.

Just as everyone noticed the body of the werewolf prince, who seemed to have fallen unconscious from the impact, the sound of a brutal smack echoed, cutting through the silence.

“Arghhh!”
“Aarghhh!”
The surrounding air was filled with the painful screams of the students.
