The Various Buddhas hurried to the summit of Mount Ling to meet with Maitreya, only to see Maitreya at this moment disheveled and pale. Upon seeing the crowd arrive, he managed a bitter smile and said, “Venerable Ones have come!”

“Buddha, what is this?”
