“Much appreciated.” Qian Wenwei bowed with a grateful smile.

“Thank you,” murmured Baldy Ji, bowing his head in apology, careful not to harbor any further malice.

Moments ago, he had brazenly threatened Pei Yu’s life, oblivious to the true circumstances, only to have the tables turned on him in an instant.

It was Ji Tong who found himself humbly admitting fault, while Pei Yu stood aloof, exuding an air of untouchable superiority.

Relieved to see Pei Yu let bygones be bygones, Qian Wenwei respectfully gestured with his hands and asked, “Mr. Pei, might we find a more suitable place to discuss matters?”
