White Impermanence took a look and realized that these two monks were far more heavily injured than he had imagined.

“Holy crap!” Ox Head cried out in shock. “Old Seven, so you dawdling with us this whole time was just a tactic?!”

Horse Face was also stunned for a moment before snapping back to reality. “Uh… Third Brother, couldn’t you tell? Honestly, I saw through it ages ago. I was just playing along with Old Seven…”

“You two are amazing,” Ox Head said enviously.

However, Xie Bi’an felt things were not that simple. He steadied his mind and declared, “Third Brother, Fourth Brother, this is all the help I can give you. You will have to fight the rest of the battle yourselves.”

The two nodded in agreement.

It didn’t take long for the thick smoke to clear again, revealing that the two monks had sustained heavy injuries once more.

They stared viciously at White Impermanence, completely utterly blindsided by the fact that he would use the exact same trick a second time.

“White Impermanence! I will have you die!” Sariputra bellowed, flying toward White Impermanence as his wounds began to knit back together.

Purna also wanted to charge forward but was immediately blocked by Ox Head and Horse Face.

“Hey, monk! Your opponents are the two of us!” Ox Head roared, hot steam billowing from his nostrils.

Xie Bi’an gave a faint nod. Although Ox Head and Horse Face seemed completely unreliable, they always pulled through when it counted.

“To think such a clumsy trick actually managed to injure them twice…” Xie Bi’an muttered to himself. “Even though they are supposedly at the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm, if I were facing the Great Emperor of Eastern Mount Tai, I am afraid I wouldn’t have been able to harm a single hair on his head.”

Just as he was lost in thought, Sariputra arrived right in front of him, unleashing a punch with the force of a thunderbolt.
