Immediately after, Alex did not return directly to the holy land. Instead, he changed direction halfway, heading toward the Void Domain Cave Heaven that Aurelia had just compensated him with.

The Void Domain Cave Heaven was a small island stretching over eight hundred miles, situated upon the Great Azure River.

The very instant her feet stepped onto the island, Joanna felt a wave of overflowing, incredibly dense spiritual energy.

“Such strong power!” Joanna said excitedly.

“Every mountain, every river, every blade of grass, and every tree on this island feels as if it exists specifically to help people cultivate!”

“Saint Lord, you secretly opened up such an incredible place, yet you never mentioned it to us? You hid this far too deeply!”

Alex shook his head and smiled faintly. “This place was not opened by me.”

“Rather, it is a cultivation blessed land single-handedly built by the Heavenly Flame Empress.”

“What?” Joanna froze slightly.

Then she suddenly felt waves of chilling, biting cold coming from behind her. She turned her head to see over a dozen majestic, towering stone statues standing impressively in the river waters surrounding the island.

The statues were engraved with ancient sacred patterns and positioned according to the alignment of the Big Dipper.

An ancient formation radiating astonishing, terrifying power.

“Saint Lord, what… what exactly is this…” Joanna was startled by the oppressive weight and couldn’t help but step back timidly.

Alex stood with his arms crossed. Face full of high spirits. He laughed heartily.

“Joanna, there is no need to be afraid.”

Wearing a spirited smile and brimming with confidence, Alex walked toward the depths of the island with his hands clasped behind his back.

Joanna’s face was full of adoration. Like a little fangirl, she skipped joyfully by Alex’s side. Everything on this island felt incredibly novel and fresh to her.

Alex stroked his chin, sizing it up with deep interest, before laughing joyfully.

“This is the one!”

“This?” Joanna asked, bewildered. “Saint Lord, is this flower some sort of incredible treasure?”

“It is incredible, but it is not a treasure.” Alex explained with a faint smile.

“To be precise, this is not a flower.”

“Rather, it is a flower demon.”

When he spoke those words, Alex’s gaze suddenly became icy and sharp. A white orb of spiritual energy condensed in his palm.

With a wave of his hand, he hurled it toward the rose.

“Myriad Spirit Detonation, obliterate!”

The orb emitted a terrifyingly formidable destructive force. Instantly blasting the solid rock wall into fine powder. Kicking up thick, dense smoke.

Before the smoke could even clear, a vine covered in vicious barbs lashed out fiercely like a venomous snake.

Anticipating this, Alex grabbed Joanna with one hand and leaped up, dodging the strike. Stepping on a floating cloud, he hovered in mid-air. Looking down imperiously at the scene below.

From within the smoke, a shrill, mournful female voice echoed.

“Husband… Husband…”

“Why do you bear the aura of my husband?”

“You are not my husband!”
