Legend Management Bureau Chapter 305

Red card[ … words ]

[ … words ]

The monk clutched his continuously bleeding face, his expression boiling with uncontrollable rage. Panting heavily, he slurred,

“You stubborn monster! You need Mind Purification!!”

With those words, his pitch-black arm rapidly expanded. Accompanied by the sound of tearing wind, he punched straight toward Kuchisake-onna’s face.

But at that exact moment, the figure of a tall woman suddenly materialized in front of the monk. She appeared completely out of nowhere, arriving in absolute silence.

Because this woman was exceptionally tall, standing well over eight feet in height, the monk’s punch only managed to reach her abdomen.

The tall woman’s expression turned frigid as she asked, “Little monk, what are you trying to do to this child?”

Sensing a dangerous aura, the monk could not help but take a step back.

“I have my eye on this child,” the woman said coldly, adjusting the top hat on her head. “She can only be tortured to death by my hands. No one else is allowed to touch her.”

“You bizarre women…” the black monk spat viciously. “Go to hell!”

The monk had never expected this towering woman to possess such domineering strength. His balance was completely shattered, and despite tumbling several times in midair, he could not right himself.

Eight-Feet Tall turned her head to Kuchisake-onna and said, “Stop playing around. Kill him.”

Kuchisake-onna let out a few eerie giggles, then pointed both hands at the sky. The airborne monk was suddenly slashed by countless invisible blades. Massive wounds inexplicably opened all over his body, raining endless streams of blood from above.

Seeing this, Kuchisake-onna clapped her hands repeatedly and shrieked, “Hehehe! Fireworks! Fireworks! Ugly fireworks!”

Eight-Feet Tall nodded slightly, offering a gentle smile. “Beautifully done, little cutie. Do not die by anyone else’s hands. I can hardly suppress my urge to torture you to death.”

Kuchisake-onna beamed back at Eight-Feet Tall and asked, “Do you think I am beautiful?”

“I think you are not as beautiful as I am,” Eight-Feet Tall replied with a smile.

“Not as beautiful as you…?” Kuchisake-onna’s expression froze for a moment before she broke into a wide grin. “Then if I kill you, I will be more beautiful than you, right?”

“Oh?” The Eight-Feet Woman was immediately piqued with interest. “This is our very first meeting, and you are already this eager to slaughter each other?”

“Slice your face! Slice your face!” Kuchisake-onna clapped her hands in delight.

“Very well. Let me see what color your intestines are,” the Eight-Feet Woman said, stepping forward with a smile.

The atmosphere between the two female Yokai turned peculiar, and a faint scent of gunpowder seemed to drift through the air.

“Tweeet!”

A sharp whistle suddenly rang out from nearby. The two female Yokai turned their heads to see Shiranui Asuka, who had pulled a whistle out of nowhere and was blowing it forcefully.

Before the two Yokai could understand what was happening, Shiranui Asuka marched over, puffing her cheeks in anger. “Foul! Foul! Infighting among Shikigami is strictly prohibited!”

“Foul…?” Both Yokai were slightly stunned.

At that moment, Shiranui Asuka pulled a red card from her pocket, held it up in front of them, and blew her whistle again.

“Tweeet! Red card!”

The two Yokai squinted at it and saw four words written on the red card: “Spanked until red!”

“Eh?!”

Before either of them could react, Shiranui Asuka had already wound up her arm and delivered a vicious smack right across the Eight-Feet Woman’s rear.

“Ah!” the Eight-Feet Woman cried out in shock, staring at Shiranui Asuka in total disbelief. “Little Xiang, what are you doing… I am Eight-Feet Tall!”

Shiranui Asuka did not say a word. She simply swung her hand again and delivered a harsh smack to Kuchisake-onna.

“Ah!!”

This entire sequence of events completely dumbfounded the two of them.

“Everyone needs to work together!” Shiranui Asuka patted them both on the shoulder. “Fighting among teammates is wrong! Look at the other Shikigami. See how united they are? See how hard they are working?”

Shiranui Asuka pointed into the distance, where three young men could be seen engaged in a fierce battle amidst the crowd.

Ibaraki Doji drew the tachi from his waist and unleashed a wide-range Iaijutsu slash.

Although this strike cut down many monks, it also nearly sliced right through the nearby Ootengu.

“Hey, hey, hey! Swords might not have eyes, but are you blind too?” Ootengu Bankotubo demanded in annoyance.

“Hey!” Shuten Doji could not let that slide. He spat out his cigarette butt and shouted, “Who gave you the right to talk to my little bro like that?”

Ibaraki Doji ignored them both, drawing his blade for another Iaijutsu strike.

The other two hurriedly dodged out of the way, narrowly avoiding getting chopped.

“You two are annoying. Just die,” Ibaraki Doji coldly barked.

Seeing this scene unfold, Shiranui Asuka could not help but facepalm. She had only summoned seven Shikigami in total, yet five of them were currently bickering with each other…

“Thank goodness the remaining two are at least…”

A’xiang turned her head, only to see Rokurokubi lingering around Tamamo-no-Mae. His detached head was flying through the air, endlessly circling Tamamo-no-Mae as he asked, “Did they not say Tamamo-no-Mae was supposed to be a gorgeous beauty? Why are you such a tomboy?”

Tamamo-no-Mae shot Rokurokubi a glacial glare and said, “If you do not intend to help, kindly get out of the way.”

“How could I do that?! Even if you are a tomboy, I haven’t seen enough yet!” Rokurokubi’s body remained perfectly still while his head flew low to the ground, constantly hovering beneath Tamamo-no-Mae’s short skirt.

“You pervert…!” Tamamo-no-Mae swung the Sessho-seki from behind her, aiming directly for Rokurokubi.

Unfortunately, Rokurokubi’s movements were incredibly swift, and Tamamo-no-Mae could not manage to hit him at all.

“What in the world are you all doing?!” Shiranui Asuka’s face flushed with embarrassment. Puffing her cheeks again, she stomped forward. “It makes me look so bad when you fight like this… Can you guys please just cooperate?”

But before she could take more than a few steps, a black monk suddenly materialized behind Shiranui Asuka. Radiating a sinister aura, he tightly grabbed her by the throat.

“Ah!” Shiranui Asuka cried out, but her voice was instantly cut off. Every plea for help remained trapped in her throat.

At that moment, A’xiang’s mind went completely blank, and she squeezed her eyes shut. She knew that everyone else was currently engaged in combat, her own Shikigami were entirely distracted by their bickering, and she had carelessly allowed the enemy to capture her. What was she supposed to do now?

But right then, the seven arguing Yokai vanished from the battlefield. In the blink of an eye, they had instantly teleported to Shiranui Asuka’s side.

Ibaraki Doji’s tachi was pressed firmly against the monk’s chest. Ootengu and Shuten Doji each seized one of the monk’s arms, while Eight-Feet Tall and Kuchisake-onna both reached out and gripped the monk tightly by the neck.

Realizing the dire situation, the monk immediately let go. Rokurokubi and Tamamo-no-Mae stepped forward, catching A’xiang securely.

“What do you think you are doing… actually daring to attack our master?” Rokurokubi glared coldly at the monk. His floating head slowly drifted upward, pressing right up against the monk’s face as he whispered eerily, “I don’t think you quite understand… just how important Little Xiang is to us, do you?”
