Kiho and Winter both scoffed at the deity at the same time.

“I’m sorry, Mother,” Julian said weakly, his eyes still closed as Saint Forrester and Solenn continued treating his chest wounds. “Had I known you’d be affected directly by removing the Abyss from the Plane, I wouldn’t have easily agreed with this plan.”

“You don’t have to apologize, baby,” Tilly said while shaking her head. “Like you said, you didn’t know. Plus, I’m pretty sure Lady Serafina didn’t tell you the truth on purpose.”

“I was short-sighted,” Solenn said in a frustrated voice. “I had a bad feeling about this, so I tried to stop Julian. Had I known this would be the consequence, then I would have stopped Julian at all costs. This is my fault, Lady Soleil.”

“Solenn, you’re just a child as well,” Tilly said, consoling her grand niece. Then she turned to the deity. “Well, since I can see how the Abyss affects the Plane negatively, I agree that we have to remove it.”
