Young Masters Pov Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day Chapter 360

So i died, slept for two weeks, and woke up in another man’s underwear[ … words ]

[ … words ]

No one gave me even a single second to ask the important questions. There wasn’t any window for me to even speak much.

I wanted to know things, like where the fuck we were. Or what exactly had happened to them after I went full suicidal maniac against a god.

I did manage to piece together a very vague, heavily watered-down version of the events that transpired while I was busy sleeping after dying from tidbits of their conversation.

But it was nothing even remotely concrete.

Instead of answering my queries, they were more interested in interrogating me since they wanted my version of the story, of the fight that happened, the situation that spiraled me into the state Kang had found me in.

So I kept answering them between sips of water and some kind of warm broth that Lily had brought me from… I don’t know where. I had no idea what was going on, as I said.

By the end of the QnA, my head was killing me.

There was a dull, numbing ache thrashing against the back of my skull. It was steadily growing worse, as if my head had been placed on an anvil and was being beaten repeatedly with a sledgehammer.

I also felt sleepy.

Which made absolutely no sense, because — according to what I managed to gather while everyone was shouting over each other — I had already been in a comatose state for the better part of two weeks.

Should you even feel sleepy after being in a coma for so long? I didn’t know.

Anyway.

Seeing me doze off a few times in the middle of one-sided conversations, Juliana eventually pushed everyone out of the room and told me to rest for a while.

When I looked at her, I couldn’t help but notice the deep, dark circles under her eyes. They contrasted against her fair skin and made the blue in her eyes pop out a lot more.

I must have been staring at her face, because she stopped right as she was about to exit as well.

“What?” Her voice sounded huskier than usual.

“…Nothing,” I said after a moment, pointing vaguely at her face. “You look tired.”

She arched a thin eyebrow and tucked a few loose strands of her cotton-white hair, which had now grown long enough to be brushing against her shoulder blades.

When she spoke again, her dry tone carried the familiar edge she used whenever she felt insulted.

“If you’re suddenly so worried about my declining beauty, maybe don’t almost die next time. That way, I won’t have to spend fourteen nights deciding whether I should start digging a grave or start praying.”

“I—I didn’t mean— I didn’t call you ugly—”

She didn’t wait for me to finish.

She stepped through the curtain and let the heavy fabric fall back into place with a dull thud.

I was left alone.

So… that meant she was worried about me, right?

“Hm.” I scratched my chin. “No, no. I’m definitely reading too much into it.”

Clearing my thoughts, I went back to sleep.

•••

I woke up ten hours later.

Hey, hey, don’t judge me! You can call me lazy after you kill a god and come back from the dead.

Ahem.

So I woke up.

“ARGHH!”

“AHHHHH!”

And immediately screamed.

Because the moment I opened my eyes, Michael’s face filled my entire field of vision. Naturally, when I screamed, he screamed too and jumped back as if he’d seen a ghost.

I jumped upright, crossing one arm over my naked chest. “What?! What do you want now that you already stole my dignity?! Are you here for seconds?!”

“N-No! I was checking on you because you were mumbling very loudly in your sleep!” Michael threw his hands forward defensively. “And what?! Sam, Alexia and I were on your bed this morning because Juli gave you the biggest bed! Ours was really small and uncomfortable. So after three sleepless nights, we reached our breaking point and started sneaking in here!”

“Oh, yeah?!” I climbed off the bed and pointed accusingly at him. “Then why were you shirtless?!”

“I sleep shirtless!” He pulled at his hair, then pointed back at me. “And you’re shirtless too!”

…Wait.

No.

Yeah.

I looked down.

Sure enough, I was wearing nothing but a pair of underwear briefs. Not a single other piece of clothing existed anywhere on my body.

There was a featureless white mask lying next to the spot where I was sleeping. But I decided to ignore it for now and return to it later.

“Why am I naked?” I asked aloud.

Michael gave me a ’Is this guy serious?’ look, then explained to me how my dimensional storage robe was utterly damaged.

Ray’s dimensional pouch had also been blown to smithereens. Only Alexia still had her Spatial Trunk Item Card, but it was filled only with girly clothes, which he doubted I’d ever want to wear.

I agreed.

It did have some of Kang’s clothes, but aside from the difference in our physiques being an issue, there was also another problem.

During the initial days of my recovery, they needed to change the makeshift bandages on my chest multiple times a day.

So they figured it’d be best, and more comfortable for me, to leave me unburdened by fabric.

…Except for one of Kang’s underwear.

I froze.

“You… wait. What? You mean I’m wearing that mutt— that guy’s underwear right now?!”

“Yup.”

“Oh, fuck no. Wait— WAIT! The difference in our physiques was an issue but not the difference in our size down there?! Because there has to be a difference! There is, right? RIGHT?!”

“Sam… that’s not how underwear works. Especially not boxer briefs…”

I felt my soul leave my body.

I stared at the elastic waistband hugging my hips and suddenly had a violent urge to dive into a vat of bleach.

“I am wearing another man’s underwear,” I whispered, the horror sinking in. “A man who is no better than a dog, Michael! Do you understand the psychological damage this is doing to me? I can feel the urges already. I feel like I need to chase mailmen and simp for someone who will never give a fuck about me! It’s taking over, Michael! It’s taking over!”

“It’s clean!” Michael shouted, his face burning red. “It’s fine! Stop being dramatic!”

“Dramatic? Michael, my dick is currently being cradled by the property of a guy who probably licks his own—” I cut myself off, taking a deep, calming breath. “No. It’s fine. It’s fine.”

“Yeah, see? It’s fine. Now can we please— WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!”

I was removing the underwear.

“Why are you stripping?!” Michael slapped his hands over his face… though he still peeked from between his fingers. “OH MY GOD!”

I kicked the offending fabric across the room and grabbed the bedsheet. Using my power, I reshaped it into a Roman-style tunic and draped it over my body.

Okay. Much better.

•••

After my little strip show, Michael and I finally talked.

Well, first he needed several minutes to recover from the visual trauma of witnessing what he still claims to this day he definitely didn’t witness.

But then we talked.

He started telling me everything that had happened in detail.

While I was fighting and dying against the God Who Eats Is, the rest of the group had been holding Michael back, trying to knock him out.

Apparently, that simple task was far more difficult than it sounded.

Juliana eventually outwitted him.

But by then, Lily and Ray were in critical condition. She had been pierced through the lower abdomen and was rapidly losing blood. He had suffered extensive burn damage.

It was a miracle they lasted as long as they did.

Alexia, after bonding with the Ring of Healing and sealing the wound in my chest — repairing my lungs and heart — immediately ran toward the rest of the group, leaving me in Kang’s care.

And according to the mutt…

I still wasn’t breathing.

So he performed CPR… another fact I did not enjoy learning.

But even that didn’t work. I still wasn’t breathing. My heart was still as dead as the rest of me.

He was about to lose hope and give up… when I finally gasped all of a sudden.

I had been dead for seven minutes before my heart miraculously started beating again.

And so I lived.

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms."

"You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them."

—BOOM!!

"Heik! Wh-What was that?"

"Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.”

______

My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane.

On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully.

It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock.

That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world.

Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things.

First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life.

Second, I was a villain. A villain!

Not the cool and mysterious kind, either.

No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death!

I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories.

The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth.

You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth.

Yeah, I was that guy.

And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with.

He was the supposed savior of this damned world.

A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew.

And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting.

But could I even make it to the end?

Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty?

A game that was now my reality!

“Ah, fuck it.”

I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try.

Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me.

Would the main characters be affected? Who cares!

Would the story change? Even better!

All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices.

“I will live this life with no regrets.”

…But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed.

And the price of altering one's destiny was steep.
